Charleston, WV Newborn Photographer | Violet’s Newborn Session
Beautiful
As soon as I saw this sweet girl’s pictures once she was born I was so excited, because I KNEW her session was going to be soo beautiful. I mean… all that black hair and just look at how chunky! Ugh.
Absolute baby fever.
Neutrals
By now, I’m sure most people know that I love using neutrals in my sessions. They go so well with any decor or paint color even if you move or decide to paint everything. It’s for that reason that I use at least one neutral color in almost every single session that I do. I want your artwork to accentuate your home no matter what!
To start off Violet’s session, I wrapped her up to let her fall into a nice deep sleep. Once she was wrapped, I grabbed a few images on my cream flokati.
ps. can you BELIEVE that precious smile she gave us?
Purple for Violet
Since her name is Violet, her mama thought it was only fitting to add in some purples for her newborn session.
I absolutely love creating unique and special setups for each of my clients, so I surprised her with this cute little heart with violets on it. She was so excited over it!
Froggy Pose
Once I finished up with the purple backdrop, we moved onto this beautiful soft pink. Her mama requested a pearl layer that she had seen in some of my Instagram posts so we made sure to use that here as well!
The very most important pose to Grace was the froggy pose. So for the pink drop that’s what I started with!
Did you know that this pose is ALWAYS supposed to be two images joined together in Photoshop to create one? While creating this image, someone should have a hand on the baby at all times! Cream
Since this family decorates their home in all neutral colors, I wanted to add more images to their gallery that would go beautifully in any room of their house. So, for the last setup, I decided to go with the timeless color cream.
This set ended up being one of my favorites from her session because it shows so well just how tiny she is compared to her parent’s hands! I have since started implementing a variation of this pose into all of my newborn sessions. These sessions are all about being able to look back on just how precious and tiny your little love was when you first brought them home, and I think this is a perfect way to do just that!
Wrapped Up
And that wraps up this timeless and feminine newborn session for an absolutely beautiful baby girl.
