From start to finish, your family session experience will be nothing short of full service. I offer this luxury experience to every client I work with.

Step One

After your session fee is paid, we will work together to plan a perfectly unique and beautiful session for your family’s needs. I will ask you a series of questions, such as what type of location you prefer (woodsy, open field, lake), and if you have any heirlooms/special items you may want incorporated into the session (such as a quilt). Once we get all those details settled, I’ll guide you through choosing wardrobe for yourself, spouse, and children.

Step Two

SESSION DAY! Finally, it’s time for your session.

Once you arrive at the outdoor location, we will get acquainted and let the children taking part in the session warm up and come out of their shell. Once everyone feels a little more comfortable, we will get started with your session. I will guide everyone through posing for images. With family sessions, I tend to take a more intimate/storytelling approach to my portraits. This way the children will feel more comfortable, allowing them to have fun, and the images will come out showing your genuine connection with each other.

Step Three

The most EXCITING part! Your reveal/ordering appointment will take place one week after your session. This is where you’ll get to see and choose all of the very best images from your session, beautifully edited, printed, matted to 8x10, right off of my reveal wall. Every folio chosen from the reveal wall will come with a corresponding media sized digital; printable up to 8x10. After you choose your folios, we will discuss my Create-A-Collection process and adding beautiful heirloom products such as, hand crafted genuine leather/linen albums, framed canvases, metal prints, or canvas clusters to create stunning gallery walls, to your experience. Once we finish choosing the perfect products for your family and home, you’ll leave my studio with your boxed folios and small handmade gift in hand. Shortly after, I’ll send your corresponding digitals in an online gallery via your email. All other products may take up to two weeks to come in. Once they arrive, we will plan for you to come back to the studio to pick them up. If you are unable to pick them up, I will bring them to your home.
