Charleston, WV Newborn Photographer | Juniper’s Newborn Session
Road Trip
This sweet girl and her family had a bit of a road trip to get here for her first photo session. They drove in from Louisville, KY. I can’t say how honored I am that they value my art and experience so much, that they were willing to drive over 4 hours for me to capture their sweet baby girl’s newborn stage for them!
Sweet as an Angel
I’m not gonna lie, I was slightly worried about miss Juniper’s newborn session. Knowing she would be in the car for so long right before her session had me a bit scared of how she would act. But she absolutely proved those worries to be fruitless! She was so sleepy and sweet as an angel throughout her entire session. Even when her big brother got a little rambunctious during the sibling portion!
Flokati
Once we finished up with sibling shots, we moved on to some solo pictures of Juniper on a beautiful cream flokati. There’s just something so serene and calming about seeing a peacefully sleeping newborn on a soft and warm fur!
Since this family decorates their home with lots of neutral colors, I thought this cream with hints of brown fit perfectly!
Jewel Toned Teal
Since Juni was already wrapped up and sleeping so well from the cream set above, we moved onto another setup that I could utilize the base wrap that I had put underneath it. This way I wouldn’t have to disturb her too much and we could get a beautiful variety of images for her gallery!
This set up was my absolute favorite from her session. The jewel toned teal compliments her skin beautifully. And isn’t that halo tie back just gorgeous?
Girl in Blue
After getting through the teal setup, we grabbed just a few pictures of this sweet girl on a beautiful light blue drop.
I love when my clients decide to go outside of the norm and have their little girl photographed with blue!
Peach
To wrap up miss Juniper’s solo shots, we did a few on a beautiful pastel peach backdrop. Could she be any cuter or squishier?!
Family
We ended the session by taking a few family portraits of this sweet girl and her parents and big brother. Family shots are included in all of my newborn sessions. I love being able to capture your changing family!
